Who’s the expert?

I am Nolan, a medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. I scored 527 on my MCAT (after starting with a much lower score!) and was accepted to 7 top medical schools, including Yale, NYU, and UCSF.
I earned my Master of Public Health at the University of Michigan, as well as my Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and Spanish. I have taught six semesters of college courses at the University of Michigan in biostatistics, organic chemistry, and health behavior. You can learn more about me on my personal website here. |

How does it work?
To book a session, call or email me ahead to choose a time. Then visit the scheduling page, choose the appropriate session type and length, and pay with a card. This completes the booking.
For the session, I usually use Google Hangouts or Skype. That way you and I can see each other, and I can show a whiteboard or screen share. (A computer with a webcam and fast Internet is necessary.)
Before the session, we will talk about what you want to work on — CARS, writing personal statements, Diels Alder reactions, etc. You can choose the format as well. I am happy to reteach the material or work through sample questions that you provide. Just let me know before we meet so I can be as prepared as possible.

What about group sessions?
I am happy to do group sessions! These are great if you and your classmates are reviewing for the MCAT or an upcoming test, or if you would like a cathartic group conversation about medical school admissions.

Cancellations and rescheduling
To reschedule or cancel a session, call or email me and I will gladly reschedule or reimburse the session as necessary. However, changes must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled time.
If I have to cancel a session for any reason, or there is difficulty connecting with you during the session (because of Internet troubles or unexpected circumstances), I will reschedule or reimburse it for free.
